The SBW Stables Theatre is an air-conditioned venue with a licensed bar and is located in the heart of one of Sydney's most thriving cafe and theatre districts in Kings Cross/Darlingurst.
With a capacity of only 120, the theatre is Sydney's most intimate and persuasive professional stage. The experience of theatre in this space is close-up, visceral, immediate and completely engaging.

Griffin Theatre Company is the resident theatre company in the venue and manages the Stables Theatre on behalf of its owners, the Seaborn Broughton and Walford Foundation.
Hire of the theatre includes Front-of-House staff, ticketing and box office facilties, a bar service and use of the theatre's technical and lighting equipment.
The hire fee does not include the services of a Stage Manager/Operator or the theatre's Production/Technical Manager. The theatre's Production/Technical Manager is required to be on site for bump-in and bump-out of the venue and all technical rehearsals and his fee is in addition to the hire fee.
