In 2008 Griffin Theatre Company will continue to provide schools with affordable and intimate access to new Australian theatre. There are three phases for participation in Griffin's production work:

TEACHER PREVIEWS. Teachers can attend a dedicated preview performance for free to see how the production relates to the curriculum prior to booking their students in to see the production (download the Schools Booking form for teacher preview dates).

RESOURCE KITS are available for teachers and students during productions.  Please email info@griffintheatre.com.au to request a kit, take a look at our Curriculum Connection page for notes, or download the Education Notes for the current production, THE MODERN INTERNATIONAL DEAD by Damien Millar, from this page.

FORUMS FOR STUDENTS.  Wednesday 12pm school matinee performances are followed by a post-show forum with the acting company, writer and director with discussion on the process leading to the performance: writing, play development, design, rehearsals etc.  Schools should request a post show forum when booking.

Student groups can attend Griffin productions for the special student price of $15 per ticket,* with up to two teachers complimentary.

*subject to certain restrictions.
