Development For Artists
Griffin is committed to being accessible to artists and transparent in our processes. If you share our passion for making the best contemporary theatre we want to hear from you. If you have a show on around town that you would like us to see, please invite us through info@griffntheatre.com.au.
The company takes its dialogue with artists very seriously and shares the responsibility of seeing shows amongst all staff members.
There are a variety of ways that artists can become part of Griffin, whether it is through initiatives like the Griffin Studio or the Griffin Award, submitting work for the Independent season or GRIFFringe or just coming up to the office to have a chat with the artistic team, we want artists to be an integral part of the working life of Griffin.
If you would like to book a time to meet with the artistic team, please email Belinda Kelly on belinda@griffintheatre.com.au.
Development for Students
We have a range of Griffin programmes to help school and university students get involved in life at Griffin. Check the pages under Development or click on one or more of the following links.
- We have the ever popular Griffin Ambassadors for school kids who want to learn more about theatre.
- The Griffin Intern programme provides students with the valuable work experience they will need for a career in the arts. To apply, send your CV to info@griffntheatre.com.au.
- For arts graduate we have the Artist Card, a community of emerging artists who not only get to see all Griffin and Performance Space shows for only $15 but also have the opportunity to engage with fellow artists through Griffin arranged event.
Whether you are artist or student, check out the Artist Blog for all the latest information and ticket offers.
