Griffin Ambassadors
“For me Griffin’s Ambassadors program is an opportunity unmatched by any other company in Sydney. What it does better than any other youth-based program, is cultivate discussions and dialogues between talented theatre artists who are successfully working in the industry, and th2012 Ambassadors – about the programe young people who will one day be contributing to the industry themselves.”
Laura Hopkinson, Griffin Ambassador 2009/2010
Running successfully since 2004, Griffin Ambassadors is an annual access program for year 11 & 12 students. Offering a unique, in-depth engagement, it makes a significant contribution to the encouragement and education of the next generation of theatre-goers and theatre makers.
Drawn from a range of schools across Sydney and united by a common interest – a passion for theatre, Griffin Ambassadors attend all Griffin and Griffin Independent productions for free throughout the year, engage with casts and creative teams in post-show forums, explore aspects of theatre craft in special workshops, have the opportunity to perform on the SBW Stables Theatre stage and generally join in with the life and workings of a professional theatre company.
