Griffin Youth Initiative
Griffin’s Youth Initiative is a panel of young theatre lovers working with Griffin Theatre Company to engage people aged 18-30 years in new Australian theatre.
For three decades, Griffin Theatre Company – Australia’s leading new writing theatre – has been a small but spirited engine room, consistently breaking new ground to create theatre experiences that are innovative, thrilling, provocative and transformational.
GYI hopes to engage the next generation of theatre lovers and talent by broadening access to Griffin’s productions and offering unique opportunities for young people to network with like minded people and meet the creative teams behind the productions.
GYI holds an event during each production’s season with tickets at special prices and post-show gatherings, as well as Q&A sessions after some productions.

Griffin is now accepting applications to join the GYI panel.
