We couldn’t do it without you

Griffin operates on a shoestring budget, with a small but dedicated full-time staff of 7 and extremely limited resources. With box office income only covering a tiny 23% of our costs, we simply couldn’t exist without the generous support from the fantastic people who believe in what we do. Griffin donors give at whatever level they can, and we love them all equally.

And who wouldn’t? They enable us to do what we do best – develop the talent of our most exciting writers and directors, help young people and students connect with local stories and Australian theatre, give community and charity groups access to our productions and, above all, put on the best new Australian plays.

And to thank our beloved donors, we publicly acknowledge them in our season brochures, programs and scripts; we invite them to season launches and company events; and provide regular updates on what we’re up to at the Stables. Griffin supporters can choose to give through a general donation, or target their support towards the capital works campaign or help nurture the hottest theatre talent around through the Griffin Studio.
