Presented by Griffin Theatre Company, Salvador Dinosaur and Critical Stages

At 29, Daniel Tobias found out he had Stage 4 testicular cancer. Stage 5 is death. Although raised in a Jewish-atheist household, the diagnosis sent him searching for God… any God. Enter Lance Armstrong, Tour de France champion and testicular cancer survivor.

Combining storytelling, comedy and cabaret to reflect on Daniel’s real life (and almost death) experiences, The Orchid and the Crow explores faith, sex and identity in a whip-smart, scintillating and ultimately life-affirming way, featuring original songs from the award-winning writers of Otto & Astrid (Die Roten Punkte).

‘Turns divine vengeance into comedy gold.’ ★★★★ – Sydney Morning Herald

‘An absolute must-see comedy…a fantastic, dramatic, hilarious show.’ ★★★★ – The Music, Melbourne
